We bought our first home! I will post a picture of it next time, when I get a good outside picture. We are still overwhelmed with putting things away. Evan handled the move very well and slept through the night from the get go.
During the move Evan must have played with the packing papers for an hour at a time a couple of times a day.
While we were unloading and bringing boxes and furniture in, Evan managed to occupy himself with his love of stacking.
The best thing about our new house, a back patio for Evan to splash around in a baby pool. He wasn't too sure of it at first, as the water was a tad colder than bathtime, but he soon loved it and he went in twice today! The 95 degree weather certainly motivates one too cool off.

Evan's Favorite Place
Evan has a favorite place to go and run around. He looks like Babes in Toyland as we enter this place, and that is;
The home improvement wharehouse type store, such as Home Depot or Lowes.
Evan realizes where we are bringing him, let the fun begin.
Evan browses in between running up and down the aisles.
More browsing and examining the structural aspects of the store.
Evan makes it clear that he doesn't want to be mowing any lawns any time soon.

Evan is 18 Months Old!
A year and a half old. Wow! Evan still really isn't saying much that we can understand though he does say quite a bit of gibberish and he when he gets going he will talk for minutes on end. We always ask each other "What is Evan talking about?" Then we guess that he may be talking about wanting to go for a walk or maybe that he really enjoyed his lunch.
He is starting to run around and really prefers to dash around the house when he can. Walking is just too slow these days. He loves to play hide and seek and keep away from the tickles and he is always eager to offer the cutest toothy grin.
