A Big Blog Update

Sorry it has been so long since I updated, but I don't have a laptop anymore and I was away for a week! James had to go to Minneapolis for a week on business so we headed up to my Mom's house. It was a lot of fun and pretty relaxing. I also turned 30 last week. I don't really know how to feel about that yet except I did find my first grey hair a few weeks ago and I feel like the bones in my right knee are rubbing together and I don't know what happened to the cartilage that is supposed to be there. There: 30.

We are here!

My Godparents, Rich and Evonne, made it down from Maryland for dinner. Rich and my Dad graduated from the Air Force Academy together. They like to share their harrowing tales including one that night about eating boiled chipmunk. Rich is an attorney now and Evonne is an artist.

Mom got a play set that she can even add to later. Evan LOVES it. We all spent a lot of time out side swinging and going up and sliding down.

Drew hung out in the grass a lot.

Evan turns around on his tummy to go down the slide, consequently he has hit his chin on the end of the slide a few times. Oh well we will get that rump on the slide eventually!

We met up with Tina and Nate at a local farm. It was a lot of fun!

Well, this week we are getting back to the old grind. Evan will have his last day of preshool and then we are going to the beach in a few weeks!
