Merry Christmas!!!

We traveled again up to my parents' house this year. It was relaxing and a lot of fun, despite us all having bad colds. The boys share a room there, and that went pretty well besides some early morning wake ups.

Evan and Drew are starting to get along. Sometimes.

Drew loves strollers. I wish they made some blue ones. Baby boys DO grow up to push their kids in strollers. If someone could start a line of boy colored strollers, they would probably cash in.

Evan's "Like a Bike" It is a bike without pedals so children can learn to ride sans training wheels. Supposedly they learn more quickly to balance.

We made a trip to the Air and Space Museum near Dulles Airport. It was really awesome! I had no idea how many actual air craft they had in the building.

The Enola Gay, very surreal to see it in person.

The Space Shuttle Enterprise! Evan was wearing his light up airplane jacket Grandma E gave him for Christmas. He LOVES it and insisted of course he wear it to the airplane museum.

Family Photos

Here are our annual family photos. In order to save some money we had them taken by "professionals." That is James and I and our combined years of photographic experience, which is pretty substantial! The only variable, the boys cooperating, went pretty well.

Talk to the hand. Drew was mad that I wouldn't let him jump into the pond.

Happy 4th Birthday Evan!

I am so sorry I have been remiss. Is this the new opening line of my blogs from now on? Well, I am about to make it up to you, again. First we wish sweet Evan a Happy 4th Birthday. He was so excited about his birthday, I think he was more enraptured with the idea of turning 4 than his presents. We had a very fun and low-key birthday party the Saturday after his birthday where a few long time friends and family joined us for a "make your own pizza and wear pajamas" party. Only the kids wore pajamas. :)

GeoTrax, possibly the best toy ever invented.

Cupcake time!
