Evan had his First Day of Preschool!

I didn't get this post up until now because I went out of town with a friend of mine up to my parents' house. She brought her 4 mos. old daughter, Abigail, and I brought Drew. We did some shopping at some stores that they don't have down here in central NC, like LL Bean and H&M. Though we did find the kid's clothes a little too trendy at H&M.

Anyway, back to Evan. He had a great first day of preschool. In fact, I didn't get a good picture of him in front of his class room because he was too busy rushing in! He obviously remembers how much fun he has at preschool and was eager to go back. James picked him up from school but he didn't get any pictures. He didn't get ANY pictures of Daddy/Evan weekend either, even though Evan had a blast at Chuck E Cheese for the very first time on Saturday! I heard he was busting some sweet moves on the dance floor as well.

Evan ready for school with his Go Diego Go backpack. He was VERY excited when I gave him this back pack, Evan is all about Diego. If you don't watch many cartoons then I will tell you that Diego is a boy adventurer who rescues animals in trouble.

Drew checking out my parents' house later that day. Drew really exploded with personality up there. Of course, he already has a lot of personality, but I think because I was able to focus on just him all weekend, I really was able enjoy him a lot more than with a busy toddler running around and also being very funny and charismatic. I had a lot of memories come back to me of baby Evan crawling around the house.

I missed Evan so much; this was the first time we were away from each other for more than a few hours. When I came home and walked through the door, he yelled, "Mommy! Give me huuug!" So sweet.

Now some more general pictures from the last week. Evan and Drew were enjoying the pack and play together.

He loves posing for the camera lately. Here he is eating a baked snap pea.
