First Day of Preschool '08 and my "special" child.

This was actually Evan's 2nd day of preschool, but I forgot my camera the first day, so we will just play pretend.

Miss Paige always greets them like this, with a big hug. Evan gives the "no contact" hug where he gets close and leans away. He will be hugging her by the end of the year though.

Hang up the back pack.

Miss Kate tells Evan to wave bye bye! Off he goes!

Drew and I usually go right to the park before errands.

Slide through it.

Dale stopped by with Jhett the other day. He is 7 months old now and getting so cute!

Evan doesn't care for bounce houses of any sort, so he ran around the floor.

The other day I made Korean Beef lettuce wraps with kimchi. (I didn't make the kimchi) and Drew decided to try to eat his entire dinner with one chop stick. It was slow going.

We all know that Drew is special. But, don't judge by these photos, I don't mean that "special." He just likes to accessorize. He brings us things all the time he wants to wear.

Even in the shower.

Finally, I would like to share a personal family loss with you. Grandpa Valentine, who forever had flowers and chocolates in his hand for everyone, wandered away, and we don't know how, but he got to close to the water. The discovery was quite shocking, but we are dealing with it day by day.
