Our 4th of July

We didn't do much and did not see any fire works because past 7 o'clock and Drew turns into baby Frankenstein. James took Evan to the park in the morning and I ran errands with Drew. My friend Lindsay invited us over for a BBQ and to let the kiddos splash around in a baby pool.

Drew loved the pool for the first time. He was kicking and splashing and having a great time. Penelope kept saying, "He wants to get out."

Evan was saying "you too" and making Drew's hand splash.

Evan's favorite meal, hot dogs and baked beans with some macaroni on the side.

There is a tree frog taking up residence somewhere around our house (or in the siding) and at night he comes out to the side of our house as our porch light draws a lot of insects, especially because we border a protected wetland. He is a very big frog, maybe due to the good eating he gets behind our house. He really is amazing to look at.
