Spring is on Its Way

We have been enjoying the great weather this week. It was 80 degrees on Thursday, but it finally cooled down this weekend. The good news is warm weather is back on the way next week.

Now that Evan can walk it is really nice to get out and let him run around and get his energy out and explore the world. Yesterday Evan turned 15 Months old but I forgot to take the usual pictures with Bear and the palm pilot. I will take those later today once Evan is dressed.

The downside of Spring coming is that Evan is waking at the crack of dawn, and that keeps getting earlier and earlier.

Here is Evan at the playground. We were there with my playgroup. Notice he made a beeline to the holes in the playset, Mr. Pokey Finger strikes again.

Evan opens doors and drawers and often "stores" his toys away in them.

This is after it cooled down. We let Evan walk out to the car with us now and he was very interested in the bushes outside our apartment.

Every night before bed we read books to Evan. I pays very good attention to the books and it is a really nice part of our routine. Evan sits through 3-4 books an evening. He definately has his favorites. Here James is reading him "But Not the Hippopotamus" by Sandra Boynton.
